Pepsi Can Hands FR - Banner Ads

French version of the Pepsi Can Hands build done for Proximity Toronto.

One thing I should probably add is this was a polite load banner build which is why we have so many pngs.

CLOOP $35

Good idea and a nice looking product where you remove your camera strap and attach it to the "CLoop" that attaches to your tripod mount on the bottom.

Watch the video to see all the benefits are with this work around.

Gillette Hair Configurator - Banner Ad

Around the same time as the rubicks cube banner build I had to take on another project. Again another freelancer dropped it and I had to pick it up and save the project.

M&M Fireworks - Banner Ads

My first M&M banner ad campaign that I got to work on. Again another pick up and save project for Proximity Toronto. Never the less it was fun to work on.

M&M Superbowl - Banner Ads

This was a crazy banner build and another project I had to pick up because another dev dropped the ball. Required a lot of optimization and recoding to get it half decent. If only I had the original to show you how bad it was before.

Nuts and Bolts on Nuts and Bolts

This site has a wicked explanation on nuts and bolts. Something I needed to clarify when doing some research on a DIY.

FFXIV Fatigue System

I really like the way they explain how the fatigue system works. I think I will use this as the basis for my tutorials.

iPhone 4 Photoshoot

I like how inspirational this is but there are some things you need to be aware of before you can produce great shots like this. Sure Lee has proved you don't need hardcore hardware. However, he did use a ton of hardcore lights and he did send it out to a professional retoucher. So bottom line is you're going to need mad photoshop skills, lots of different lights and backdrops before you can produce the same kind of quality photos.

Light Levels & Lumens

LIGHT
LEVELS & LUMENS
Lumens
represents the amount of light emitted by a light source, such as a light
bulb. Following are typical lumens levels for various light (CFL) bulbs.
Realize that recommended light levels will vary based on the person and
the task. When purchasing light bulbs, however, don't assume that more watts
means more light, more lumens means more light.

The 4 Big Myths of Profile Pictures

Interesting numbers.  Glad I'm past the ABS pics as the numbers show if you're in your 30's the results are far less worthwhile.

FedEX Barcode EN - Banner Ads

I loved working on this project. Really challenging getting the barcodes to reveal like that and coming up with that transition but the end results are spectacular.

FedEX Barcode Expandable - Banner Ads

A worrying person who is pacing back and forth is relieved to find out that his package has arrive in time by the FedEX people.

Envision Financial Home & Travel - Banner Ads

The home insurance banner ad was kind of tricky. You can't scale text that big without it distorting. The best way is to do a manual scale on the text element vs typing in a scale number.

Envision Financial Golf & Vision - Banner Ads

The golf banner ad was based off the Crown Royale banner ad. The vision ad was made to look like you're trying to focus in on the 4%.

Doritos Tandoori FR - Banner Ads

French version of the Doritos Tandoori expandable banner ads.

Doritos Tandoori EN - Flash Banner Ad

Intensive flash banner ad for Doritos new Tandoori flavour. The idea was to convey a different dance for each of the flavours. This required lots of cropping and touching up of the photos and had a really tight timeline. The MTV transition and how everything got put together really made the client happy.

Crown Royal - Flash Banner Ad

A simple expandable flash banner ad for Crown Royal. I thought this flash ad could have been a lot more fun if they wanted it to be more interactive where you could possibly miss. But in the end the client wanted the end user to always win.
