A simple expandable banner ad to create when you understand particle systems and how to create them. I think this was done for Proximity Toronto. Really cool banner ad to work on where the bag shoots out some particles that overlay on the page.

The Human Bridge Project
Joint project between 2 Toronto ad agencies. I dropped the ball here. I wasn't able to create an integral portion of the site. The math wouldn't support what was trying to be achieved in the 2 days I had to build it. I took an earful that day and I'm posting this to illustrate that even the best can drop the ball.

Gillette Face - Banner Ads
These banner ads were done as a demo for Proximity Toronto. They wanted to push the limits of what could be done with banner ads. In one ad you'll be able to performa a fake upload into the banner ad and choose from different facial features. On the other ad you'll be able to shave the beard yourself and create your own style. Have fun playing with the ads.

Gillette End of Shaving - Banner Ads
One thing I like about doing Gillette banner ads are the razor speed lines and the challenge of having to mask them in a curve. Sometimes you have to actually revector the lines in order to keep the file size down and that's a challenge on it's own. Another banner build for Proximity Toronto.

Gillette Brother 4 Slide - Banner Ads
Interactive flash banner ad where you can slide the screen across and see a new image. To create this effect you have to create the mask in code and allow it to be moved by mouse drag. Again heavy compression on images because of excessive use of images. Another build for Proximity Toronto.

Gillette Vignette - Banner Ads
Another fun build for Proximity Toronto. These Gillette ads were especially fun to do because one had a polite load video and the other was just a challenge. If you haven't noticed I like challenges and this one was particularly challenging. You had to crop the images just right so you can zoom in and get enough quality detail without it artifacting so much. Quality was one of the biggest challenges. Always check your specs when you do banner builds.

A couple of professional looking banner ads for Gillette done for Proximity Toronto. One thing I liked about this build was being able to fit in all the images at such a high quality setting. Normally it's not something you can do as more images = more compression.

Whiskas Ask A Cat
Whiskas Ask a cat was a super fun project to work on. My job was to build this app that would load in several video feeds. Loop them back to back and when a user types in a question the cat is suppose to type back. Kind of like keyboard cat meme. Anyways enjoyed every minute of the project done for Proximity Toronto. Too bad I couldn't show you the final flash version because the video feeds are broken now. But here's the demo version.

Durex - Microsite
A friend of mine from Youthography asked me to help on a project. Had to make some sort of dynamic mask to allow you to look at everything except the couple having sex. It's fake sex btw they had some skin colored undergarments on but never the less we still had to give the user the option.

Scotia iTrade Bull - Banner Ads
This bull ad was a tricky banner ad. I had to figure out a way to make it look like he was running so I flipped his body around and it worked out pretty well with a 2 frame spacer. Any more and it looked too fast or too slow. Produced for Capital C Toronto.

HP Fiberoptics - Banner Ad
New banner ad to be released soon for HP Fiberoptics created for Proximity in Toronto. The toughest part was to create a fiber optic look using limited resources. Pulled it off with good old trusty particle systems. Very little code was used to produce this random effect maybe 4-5 lines of code. You want to keep it simple for someone to change it if necessary. I like to always plan for any level of developer to be able to look through the file and know how it's built. I don't like to build flash banner ads so complicated that only I will know how they work.
